Closing of CBGB's.
I was wrong!!! I was mislead!!!!
I apologize for it. But now I grieve for a great man. Hilly Kristal, creator of CBGB OMFUG passed away during the summer 2008. Most of of my musician friends played there. We got a taste because of him. Thanks Hilly. Thanks on behalf of all us losers you let play in your club. Thank you. !!!
Sept. 5th, 2009-1st NYC gig in 11 years(not 12). People seemed to dig it. Johnny and Eric from Hello Dali came by. The tour ends, the future begins.
Thanks to everybody who bought a CD or tee-shirt, checked out an MP3, listened and rocked with us. Big Man's Band is bigger because of you, thanks!
August 29th, 2009-Us and Idle Tyme, rockin' at PJ's. It was good and loud, including some jamming by both bands. It was amazing!!!!!!!!
August 15th, 2009-6 great bands, Blue Water, Second Wind, Monks Of Sex, Ricky Blues, our friends Young Socrates, and we kicked things off at the 2nd annual Rochelle Gambino Tribute. What a night! Everyone at Mediterranean Taverna in Croton treated us so good. Jackie, you did a great job and Rochelle was obviously smiling down on us. Will post some video later!!
June 19, 2009-Got to check out the Natch, great band from Rockland, and the usual killer show from Ugly Friend!!!!
